Belgium's steel production dropped in October

According to the source, Belgian metallurgical enterprises reduced steel production by 8.8% compared to the previous month to 438 thousand tons. On an annual basis, steel production in the year was 29.6% lower.

In the period January-October this year, steel production in Belgium amounted to 5.22 million tons, which is 11.4% less than in the corresponding period of 2022.

At the end of this period, the average monthly steel production in Belgium was 522.3 thousand tons, compared to 589.6 thousand tons in the same period last year.
