Batısöke Çimento Sanayii T.A.Ş. will establish a 150,000 tons/year capacity "Waste Derived Fuel (WDF) Preparation Plant" at its cement plant in Aydın with an investment of TL 85 million. The company's main goal is to use waste as fuel.
The new project will provide the plant with energy recovery. During this energy recovery, waste that cannot be transformed will be separated and a suitable environment will be created for the "Incineration and Co-combustion" process. Thus, the additional fuel need of the cement plant will be met in a way.
