According to the announced statistics, Argentina's crude steel production amounted to about 442,000 tons in January this year, an increase of 0.64% compared to the previous month.
During this period, Argentina's hot-rolled coil production increased by 8% to 195,000 tons, cold-rolled coil production decreased by 3.5% to 109,000 tons, and long product production decreased by 2.5% year-on-year to 194,000 tons.
It is said that the increase in steel consumption in January was mainly due to strong demand from the construction, energy and agricultural machinery fields.
