Last year was a very difficult year for the factory, as the company's CEO, Mauro Longobardo, noted during his talk with the work team and department heads.
“Last year the financial situation was very difficult, we have a significant net loss, but we have received substantial financial assistance from ArcelorMittal company, over $600 million,” said ArcelorMittal CEO.
According to him, the company planned to channel $130 million for capital investments by 2023. The main renovation area (Third plan) will be the construction of the waste storage facility. Other projects will continue. This will be the Fourth plan and the completion of the construction work of the Myrolyubivske landfills. Special attention will be given to the soil factory construction project, the construction of which was suspended due to the war.
