Annual reporting requirements for scrap metal companies in Russia

From January 20 to February 1, 2025, all eligible businesses engaged in scrap metal activities in Russia must submit their annual report for 2024 in the mandatory Form No. 14-MET (Scrap), titled “Information on the Generation and Use of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap.” This requirement is crucial for monitoring and regulating the scrap metal industry, which is a vital component of the circular economy.

• Detailed figures for each subdivision of the company within the same region, as well as separate reports for subdivisions located in different regions.

Specific columns in the form require input in tons (with one decimal place) or in thousands of rubles, depending on the data category.
