According to Reuters, Türkiye's Ministry of Trade announced that the country will limit the export of a wide range of its products to Israel until a cease-fire is announced in the Gaza Strip.
This is the first significant action of Ankara after 6 months of the Gaza war and the aggression of the Zionist regime to this strip. The Turkish government has repeatedly condemned Tel Aviv for the brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip, but despite the harsh attacks by the Ankara authorities as well as internal pressures and criticisms, Türkiye continues its business relations with the Zionist regime.
Ankara has announced that the export restrictions will be implemented. Also, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye, this restriction includes 54 different products, including iron, marble, steel, cement, aluminum, bricks, chemical fertilizers, construction equipment, as well as rocket and aircraft fuel.
In another part of the ministry's statement, it is stated: As long as Israel, under its obligations under international laws, does not immediately declare a ceasefire in Gaza and does not allow the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid into this strip, this decision will remain in place.
