According to the written statement made by the ATO, the "ATO 100th Anniversary Shelter and Social Living Area" built by the Chamber in the Çay Mahallesi allocated by the Iskenderun Municipality has been delivered to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The prefabricated houses used were produced by a local company on order. 96 families started to reside in the prefabricated buildings.
In each prefabricated building, two bunk beds with two floors, four beds each, duvet cover, duvet cover, undermat, pillow, hand and bath towel, double sofa, refrigerator, heater, water heater, wardrobe, normal wardrobe, curtain, shoe rack, library, under-the-counter cupboards and a bench.
The wooden furniture of the prefabricated MDF, which is a first class material, was produced by ATO in Ankara Mobilyacılar Sitesi. Pillows, duvets and duvet cover sets were provided free of charge by the Association for the Survival of Social and Cultural Values (HERDEM).
In his statements on the subject, ATO President Gürsel Baran pointed out the importance of establishing living spaces to support life, production and trade in the provinces affected by the earthquake, stating that the Chamber has been trying to meet the needs of the region and heal the wounds since the first minutes of the earthquake.
