The Norwegian Wealth Fund used part of its assets last year to buy shares of 38 companies of different sizes operating in various fields.
The total investment of the Norwegian Wealth Fund, the world's largest wealth fund, in the shares of these Turkish companies amounted to 1 billion 217 million 31 thousand dollars. The shares of Enerji AŞ and Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri AŞ (Tüpraş) were also included.
It holds 13% of the shares in the world stock markets. The fund has been investing heavily in renewable energy projects in recent years.
According to the data of Norges Bank, which manages the fund, the share value of the fund in these 5 energy companies was recorded as approximately $ 161 million.
