Noksel Steel Pipe announced that ArcelorMittal held talks at its plant in Spain on important pipeline projects that are being monitored in Europe and in a wide geography and planned to be realised in the near future.
CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) and hydrogen pipelines, two important issues that occupy the agenda in Europe, came to the fore in the meeting.
In the statement made by Noksel Steel Pipe on the meeting; "CBAM is a mechanism that aims to apply a carbon border tax on products with high carbon emissions. It will help achieve the European Union's climate targets while encouraging the reduction of emissions. Hydrogen pipelines will play an important role for the distribution of clean energy. Hydrogen is a cleaner energy source than fossil fuels and does not produce greenhouse gas emissions. By facilitating the transport of hydrogen over long distances, it will enable clean energy to reach a wider area. These projects offer important opportunities for both our industry and the global economy. We will continue our efforts to take part in these projects in the future."
