Groupe Hamel is set to launch a new downstream manufacturing facility in Oued Seguen, aimed at producing pre-painted steel coils. The plant, with an initial capacity of 45,000 tons per year (expandable to 90,000 tons), is expected to start operations on November 1. This private entity is set to supply steel to the automotive and household appliance sectors,contributing to the national industry's integration. Ali Aoun, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, officially recognized this development by delivering an investment certificate to the plant's owner.
