Al Gharbia Pipe Company (AGPC) announced that it has reached a production milestone of 500,000 tons of steel pipes at its facility located in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD). The company’s effective use of artificial intelligence and advanced automation systems supports the UAE’s “Operation 300bn” strategy, which aims to promote digital transformation and manufacturing localisation within the industrial sector. This achievement not only highlights AGPC’s production capabilities but also reinforces its strong position in the industry with a technology-driven approach.
Since commencing commercial production in 2019, AGPC has rapidly increased its output, investing in next-generation equipment to bring its operations in line with Industry 4.0 standards. The company's smart manufacturing system monitors, reports, and tracks real-time operations on the shop floor, ensuring complete quality control and full product traceability. Thanks to this system, every pipe produced meets the highest quality standards.
Acting CEO of Al Gharbia Pipe Company, Noritsugu Mifune, stated that this milestone reflects AGPC’s core values of quality, safety, innovation, and sustainability. "Through continuous investment in advanced technologies and the dedication of our workforce, we have successfully surpassed this important threshold," Mifune stated.
