The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to extend the anti-dumping duty on hot-deformed seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant steel imported from China until September 24, 2025. This duty, which was previously expected to end on January 31, 2025, will remain in effect due to the ongoing repeated anti-dumping investigation.
According to the EEC's statement, under the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC), current anti-dumping measures can remain in effect until the investigations are concluded. The investigation in question was initiated in September 2024 and is planned to be completed within 12 months at the latest.
The anti-dumping duty first came into force in December 2019 and was applied at a rate of 15.5% on the customs value of the relevant products imported from China. Products with GTIP codes 7304.4910.00, 7304.4993.01, 7304.4993.09, 7304.4995.01, 7304.4995.09 and 7304.4999.00 are included in the tax scope.
