As from the next week, foundations will be laid simultaneously in 11 provinces.
The government aims to start the construction of 319 thousand houses within 2.5 months. A total of 650 thousand houses are planned to be built in the earthquake zone.
Murat Kurum who is Minister of Republic of Türkiye Mınıstry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Hamza Dağ who is Vice President of AK Party, Tülay Kaynarca who is Deputy of Istanbul, Davut Gül who is Governor of Gaziantep, Fatma Şahin who is Metropolitan Municipality Mayor of Gaziantep and Ömer Bulut, who is President of TOKI, held a chat meeting with journalists at Gaziantep AFAD Center.
Hamza Dag, Vice President of AK Party, stated that they will focus on the reconstruction and reconstruction process in the coming period. We have placed earthquake victim families in 480 of the reserve houses we have in Kahramanmaraş and 700 in Malatya."
