Foreign buyers expect a stable economy in Türkiye
Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator President of the Aegean Exporters' Associations, said: “Exports of industrial products from the Aegean Exporters' Associations amounted to 710 million dollars. Exports of our agricultural sectors increased by 4 percent to 550 million dollars. If our agricultural sectors maintain this momentum, their exports, which reached 7 billion 414 million dollars with an increase of 4 percent in the last 1-year period, will exceed 8 billion dollars by the end of 2024. While 6 of our 12 exporter associations under the roof of the Aegean Exporters' Associations exceeded their performance, 6 exporter associations fell behind last year's export figures. Türkiye needs to make new investments in 2024 to be competitive. We expect the change in exchange rates to continue in line with inflation. The current exchange rate is slowing export growth. Foreign buyers expect a stable economy from Türkiye.”
