The agreement covers seven years from the start of production and calls for the delivery of "near-zero-emission steel" from Boden in northern Sweden.
H2 Green Steel plans to bring to market steel produced from ferrous scrap and hot briquetted iron using renewable energy and green hydrogen, and is working on an electric arc furnace and direct reduced iron steel rolling complex.
H2 Green Steel said Roba Metals operates in the metal value chain in areas such as steel, aluminium, stainless steel, cradle-to-cradle recycling and non-ferrous metals.
"As part of this agreement, Roba Metals will work to develop the regional market for green steel and will also process and distribute the steel product from H2 Green Steel to customers through its service centre in Genk, Belgium," the company said in a statement.
Roba Metals Director Florin Negulescu said that Roba plans to offer its customers a near-zero emission steel option from H2 Green Steel as part of its product range in the near future.
Roba's activities include a wide range of services from raw material purchasing to smelting, sales, logistics and delivery services, he said.
