Mexican company Forza Steel announced plans to build a new pipe plant in Brownsville, Texas, and install equipment to begin rolling mill operations in July.
The new plant will supply steel pipes and tubes for the automotive, construction, and oil and gas industries. The plant is expected to be 260,000 metric tons per year and produce 240,000 tons of pipe products annually.
