SteelRadar's data compiled from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) revealed that Türkiye's ferroalloy imports in March 2024 decreased by 27.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 43,837 tons to 31,802 tons.
This was down by 9.4% compared to the previous month, February.
In the January-March period, total ferroalloy imports decreased by 2.6% from 108,075 tons to 105,312 tons compared to the same period of the previous year.
The leading country in Türkiye's ferroalloy imports in the mentioned period was Georgia with 8,276.8 tons, followed by India with 8,069.1 tons and Iran with 6,391.6 tons.
