Fatih started drilling at Türkali-4

In the post made on the Twitter account of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) , it was said, "The new target of Discovery Fatih is at Türkali-4".

After Tuna-1, which is an exploration well, Fatih drilling ship reached a drilling depth of 3,920 meters in Türkali-1, which is Turkey's first deep-sea detection well, and completed the work there in 77 days.

In the second deep-sea detection well, Türkali-2, after reaching a drilling depth of 3 thousand 950 meters, the reserve detection work was completed in 53 days.

After these two detection wells, Fatih drilling ship drilled in Amasra-1 well located in Northern Sakarya Gas Field for new discoveries . On 28 May, it was announced that the Fatih drilling ship started drilling in the new detection well Türkali-3 in the Sakarya Gas Field.

A total of 540 billion cubic meters of natural gas has been discovered so far during the exploration works carried out by TPAO in the Black Sea and in the ultra-deep sea. Sakarya Gas Field Development Project consists of a natural gas production system to be established under the sea, a processing facility to be established on the shore of Filyos, and pipelines to connect these two units.
