Exports broke all-time record in March

Exports increased by 4.4 percent in March, amounting to the level of 23.6 billion dollars. Regarding the subject, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş said, "Despite the negativities caused by the earthquake, exports in March increased by 4.4 percent to 23.6 billion dollars. This is the highest monthly export of all time."

Germany ranked first in exports

Germany ranked first among the countries with the highest exports in March, with 2 billion dollars. Germany was followed by the USA with 1.4 billion dollars, while Italy was in third place with 1.2 billion dollars.

Most imports were recorded from Russia.

While most exports were made to Germany, the largest imports were from Russia. Russia, which imported 4 billion dollars from Turkey, was followed by China with 3.8 billion dollars. Germany came in third with $2.7 billion. Thus, Germany ranked in the top three for Turkey in both imports and exports.
