Export of "steel house" from Konya to the USA, where the hurricane was effective

A company that produces steel construction houses in Konya has started exporting to the United States (USA) where effective hurricanes are experienced in many states.

Export of "steel house" from Konya to the USA, where the hurricane was effective

Hurricanes, which affected the USA and whose speeds reached 240 kilometers per hour from time to time, caused floods, floods, destruction and deaths in the country, left millions of people without electricity for days, rendering many workplaces and homes unusable. This situation opened the door for steel construction house exports from Konya to the USA.

A company that produces steel construction structures in Konya has started to sell ready-made, demounted steel construction villas to this country, upon the request from the city of Houston, which was badly damaged by the hurricanes in the US state of Texas.

Hurricanes increased interest in these structures

Mustafa Ceylan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the life of the steel structure they produce is between 140 and 150 years, and that it also shows high resistance against a severe earthquake.

Expressing that they have sent 80 ready-made villas to the USA, Ceylan said that all static calculations, including snow load, rain, wind speed, were made for all the villas they exported.

Emphasizing that many houses were damaged and destroyed during the hurricane in the USA, Ceylan said:

"And recently, energy-related problems have arisen. These houses are much better than concrete houses in terms of heat and sound insulation, durability and life. After the hurricanes in the USA, there was a great trend towards these steel structures. Turkey is also attractive to them in terms of price and competition. "We have sent 80 steel houses to America at the moment. I hope we will produce and send more."

Natural gas shortage in Europe also paved the way for exports

Stating that they have received orders for ready-made villas from Europe due to high thermal insulation, Mustafa Ceylan said, "We are continuing our work on the construction of 455 steel houses in the Netherlands. We have sent nearly 100 so far, we send them periodically as we produce. Apart from that, we have made them to France. We have established contact with Germany. European countries are making very serious demands, we are trying to keep up with the demand." used the phrases.

Ceylan added that although the delivery time of such houses varies according to the square meter size after the order, a 200 square meter house is delivered in 25 working days.
