Taiwan's stainless steel producers are expected to announce their prices for September. Although an increase in prices is predicted, market participants think that the increase should be re-evaluated due to the slow recovery in demand in the terminal market.

Some distributors, on the other hand, were confident that September prices would rise, and they repeatedly increased their prices to compensate for the loss in sales that were previously below cost.
