In a recent update from SteelRadar , the price list for rebar producers in Egypt for the years 2024-2025 reveals a mixed trend in steel prices as of January 20. The data compares prices from December 31 to January 20, showing both increases and decreases across various companies.
Leading the list, Ezz Steel, Suez Steel, Egyptian Steel, and Beshay all reported a price increase of $7 per metric ton, with their prices rising from $750 to $757. El Marakby and Al Garhy also saw a notable increase of $6 per metric ton, bringing their prices to $729.
On the other hand, several companies experienced a decline in prices. Al Komy saw the most significant drop of $12 per metric ton, reducing their price to $666. El Ola Steel and Antar Steel both reported a decrease of $14 per metric ton, bringing their prices down to $654.
Other companies such as Mitad Helwan, Al Gyoshi Steel, and Al Arabeya Steel also faced price reductions, with decreases of $10, $10, and $8 per metric ton, respectively.
