Decline in South Korea's Long Product Production

According to the statistics, South Korea's long product production in the first five months of this year totaled 8.55 million tons, reflecting a 7.1 percent decline compared to the same period of the previous year. Notably, there was a decrease in the production of significant products, including rebar and wire rod.

In the same timeframe, long product sales in South Korea reached 8.42 million tons, indicating a 7% year-on-year decrease. Approximately 50% of these sales were attributed to rebar.
