According to the new information provided by AFAD, while the number of deaths increased to 7,108, and 40,910 of our citizens were injured. On the other hand, a total of 648 earthquakes occurred in the region.

The number of casualties is increasing in the destruction caused by the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ.

According to the latest statement made by AFAD at 11.33, a total of 7,108 of our citizens lost their lives; 40 thousand 910 people were injured. In the AFAD statement, it was shared that the installation of 70,818 "AFAD Family Life Tent" was completed in the earthquake zone.

After the first earthquake, a total of 648 earthquakes occurred, the largest of which was 7.6 in the center of Elbistan.

The latest statement made by AFAD is as follows;
"According to the information received from SAKOM, 7,108 citizens in total lost their lives in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ provinces, and 40,910 citizens were injured.

The installation of 70,818 AFAD Family Life Tent has been completed in the region for the shelter of our earthquake survivors.

Personnel assigned from AFAD, PAK, JAK, JÖAK, DAK, Ministry of National Defense, Police, Gendarmerie, UMKE, Fire Brigade, Ministry of National Education, Trust, NGOs and Volunteers, Local Support Teams and international search and rescue teams working in the area The number is 96 thousand 670. As a result of the negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 5,309 personnel from other countries for help were sent to the disaster area.

Excavators, tractors, cranes, dozers, trucks, water trucks, trailers, graders, vacuum trucks, etc. A total of 5,434 vehicles, including construction equipment, were shipped.

31 governors, more than 70 district governors and 68 provincial directors were assigned to disaster areas.

A total of 122 aircraft affiliated to the Air Force, Land Forces, Coast Guard and Gendarmerie General Command, and an air bridge¨ have been established to transport personnel and materials from Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir to the region.

A total of 10 ships, 9 by the Naval Forces Command and 1 by the Coast Guard Command, were assigned to the region for the purpose of personnel, material shipment and evacuation.
