According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 48,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in December last year, decreasing by 18% compared to the previous month and rising by 32% from the same month a year ago.
Mexico had the largest share of imports
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 36,000 tons, a m-o-m decline of 13.5% and a y-o-y rise of 51%. Canada ranked second with around 11,000 tons.
Import value increased by %20,6 on a yearly basis
During the period, the export value was nearly $60 million, down by 17.2% m-o-m and up by 20.6% on a yearly basis.
