The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the consumer confidence index data for June.
According to the announced data, the seasonally adjusted consumer confidence index calculated from the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with TÜİK and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye decreased by 2.7 percent in June compared to May. The index, which was 80.51 last month, decreased to 78.3 this month.
In the current period, the household financial situation index, which was 65.3 in May, decreased by 2.2 percent in June to 63.8.
The index of household financial situation expectations in the next 12 months, which was 82.8 in May, decreased by 4.4 percent this month to 79.2.
The index of general economic situation expectations in the next 12 months, which was 78.3 last month, decreased by 2.8 percent and was recorded as 76.1 this month.
The index of intention to spend on durable consumer goods in the next 12 months decreased by 1.6 percent to 94 in June, from 95.6 in May.
