The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) shared the construction production data of the European Union (EU) and Eurozone for November 2021.
According to the published data, construction production in the 19-member Eurozone decreased by 0.2 percent in November compared to October. Construction production increased by 0.5 percent compared to November 2020.
CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTION IN THE EU INCREASED IN NOVEMBER
In the EU, construction production increased by 0.2 percent in November compared to the previous month and by 1.3 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
HIGHEST INCREASE IN ROMANIA
Among the EU countries, the highest increase in construction production in November compared to the previous month was measured in Romania with 8 percent, Hungary with 5 percent and Slovakia with 4.8 percent.
The highest decrease was determined in Belgium with 3.7 percent, France with 1.4 percent and Germany with 0.8 percent.
