The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced, referencing a letter from the Ministry of Commerce, that significant changes have occurred in the export tax rebate rates in the People's Republic of China.
According to the statement, the regulations set to take effect on December 1, 2024, include the following modifications:
- The tax rebate will be completely eliminated for certain items, such as aluminum, copper, and chemically processed animal and vegetable oils.
- For other items, including refined oils, batteries, and certain non-metallic minerals, the tax rebate will be reduced from 13% to 9%.
It is noted that these regulations will be applied based on the date of the export declaration. Relevant parties are urged to pay close attention to these changes.
