China's stainless steel exports decreased

China's net stainless steel export volume decreased by 9.58% on a monthly basis to 290,800 million tons in the July 2024 period. It increased by 30.4% on an annual basis.

China's stainless steel exports decreased

According to market experts; China’s stainless steel imports decreased in July 2024. It decreased by 8.84% compared to June and 12.54% compared to 2023, decreasing to 119,700 tons.

China's stainless steel exports reached 410,500 million tons in July, decreased 9.33% from June, but increased of 14.09% from the previous year.

China's stainless steel imports and exports were 1.2275 million tons and 2.7754 million tons in the January-July period of 2024, respectively, an increased by 25.3% and 15.7% compared to 2023.

China's net stainless steel export volume decreased by 9.58% on a monthly basis to 290,800 million tons in the July 2024 period, and increased by 30.4% on an annual basis.

In July, China's imports of stainless steel scrap totaled 5,320 tons, decreased by 20.93% from June. Compared to July 2023, it decreased by 72% to 60,200 tons.
