China's stainless net steel exports increased in March

In March this year, China's net stainless steel exports increased by 244.3% m-o-m and 6.2% y-o-y to around 226,000 tons.

China's stainless steel imports decreased by 34.1% m-o-m and 48.6% y-o-y to around 123,000 tons in March.

In the said period, China's stainless steel exports decreased by 38.2% on a monthly basis and 8% on an annual basis to 349,000 tons.

China's stainless steel imports decreased in the first quarter of this year

In the first quarter of 2023, China's stainless steel imports decreased by 51.22% y/y to 461,000 tons, while exports decreased by 8.9% y/y to around 967,000 tons.
