China imported about 32.3 million tons of coal in November, up 10.7% compared to the previous month, but down 7.8% compared to the same month of the previous year.
During this period, the value created by these imports increased by 17% on a monthly basis and decreased by 26% year-on-year to US$ 4.34 billion.
In the first eleven months of this year, China's coal imports totaled 262.4 million tons, down 10.1% year on year. Import value totaled US$38.4 billion, up nearly 25% year-on-year.
