Çemaş Döküm reported a loss in the Q2 of the year

Çemaş Döküm Sanayi A.Ş. announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2024.

Founded in 1976 by the state and incorporated into Işıklar Holding in 1995, Çemaş Döküm shared its second quarter balance sheet for 2024.

According to the financial report reported by Çemaş Döküm Sanayi A.Ş. to the Public Disclosure Platform (“PDP”), the company, which announced a loss of 72 million TL (72,531,619 TL) in the first half of 2023, announced a total loss of 215 million TL (215,829,927 TL) in the period 01.01.2024 - 30.06.2024. In the quarterly period, a net profit of 58 million TL (58.188.100 TL) was announced.

Çemaş Döküm's revenues decreased by 14% compared to the same period of the previous year, while its equity decreased by 3% in the quarter.

While Çemaş Döküm generated TL 1 trillion (TL 1,089,413,967) from sales in the first half of last year, it generated TL 933 million (TL 933,529,146) in the same period this year. In the same period of 2023, the company reported an operating profit of -91 million TL (-91.769.482 TL), while this year it reported an operating profit of -3 million TL (-3.053.080 TL).
