Fewer working days and a weaker market in April this year led to a decrease in Brazil's domestic flat steel sales. The country's domestic flat steel sales stood at 301,100 tons, a decrease of 18.7% from March and 5% yoy.
INDA President Carlos Loureiro said that while he expected sales to increase by 3% in 2023, now he expects it to be 0% or between 1% and 1%.
