Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz's claim that "Türkiye has lifted most of the restrictions on Israel", "Our decision to stop trade with Israel is in effect until our conditions are met regarding the cessation of Israel's attacks on Gaza, the establishment of a permanent ceasefire and the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to our Palestinian brothers and sisters in Gaza."
On his social media account, Bolat stated that Israeli Foreign Minister Katz's statements are "absolutely fictitious" and have nothing to do with reality.
Indicating that they are behind the decision they took as a government on trade with Israel, Bolat stated the following:
"This decision remains effective. Our decision to stop trade with Israel is in effect until our conditions are met regarding the cessation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, the establishment of a permanent ceasefire and the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to our Palestinian brothers and sisters in Gaza."
Force Majeure extension
A source in the Trade Ministry told Reuters that companies that had to close their inward and outward processing certificates and exports due to the Israeli export ban were granted a force majeure extension.
