Big move from ArcelorMittal Bremen!

ArcelorMittal Bremen made an important move. The company has signed an agreement with WPD, a supplier of wind energy technology, to build a 72 MW wind farm.

Big move from ArcelorMittal Bremen!

Up to 10 wind turbines will be built on the site in Bremen in the coming years and all of the electricity generated will be used in steelmaking processes. The project will be realised in two phases. In the first phase, two existing wind turbines will be replaced with more modern and powerful models and three new turbines will be installed. In the second phase, five additional turbines will be designed and built, increasing the plant's energy capacity. This comprehensive project is an important step towards expanding the use of green energy in Germany's steel industry and achieving sustainable production goals.

Industrial giant Germany is shaping the future with green energy...

Germany's industrial giants continue to lead the way in environmental sustainability and the transition to renewable energy sources. These innovative projects of Thyssenkrupp Steel and ArcelorMittal Bremen continue to inspire other countries and sectors. Experts predict that these initiatives will provide both economic and environmental benefits in the long term.

The economic benefits of the transition to green energy include lower energy costs, increased security of energy supply and the creation of new business opportunities. Environmentally, it is

expected to make significant contributions such as reducing carbon footprint, improving air quality and protecting natural resources.

The widespread use of wind energy in Germany's steel industry is seen as a reflection of the country's energy policies. These projects are important steps towards Germany's goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. These investments in renewable energy allow Germany to strengthen its leading position in the global energy market and play an active role in the fight against climate change.

This comprehensive transformation process will determine the future orientation not only of Germany but also of the global industrial and energy sectors. The wider use of renewable sources such as wind power in industrial applications will encourage the adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly production models worldwide.
