Bahrain Steel takes a new step in digitalization and sustainability

Bahrain Steel has entered a strategic partnership with Nanoprecise Sci Corp, a provider of energy-centered predictive maintenance technologies, to boost production efficiency and reduce energy waste. As part of its broader digital transformation, the company aims to optimize maintenance costs by monitoring machinery energy use and health in real time.

P.M. Edwin, Bahrain Steel’s General Manager of Operations, emphasized that the system is a key step toward operational excellence and sustainability. Nanoprecise CEO Sunil Vedula highlighted that their extensive experience in the steel industry would bring added value to the partnership. With AI-powered analytics, potential failures will be detected early, extending equipment life and lowering carbon emissions.

This innovative approach strengthens Bahrain Steel’s commitment to environmental responsibility and further solidifies its leadership in digitalization and sustainability across the Middle East.
