ASELSAN opened its first local office in Santiago, Chile, to contribute to its long-term growth strategy and export potential in Latin America. The office, which will serve as a hub for activities in the region, will demonstrate ASELSAN's commitment to meeting the defence needs of the region. Ahmet Akyol, the General Manager of the company, stated that the opening of the Santiago Office represents a strategic move to strengthen ASELSAN's presence in Latin America and to seize opportunities in the defence sector.
ASELSAN's products such as the AVCI Helmet Integrated Control System, UAV payload systems, ASELFLIR-500 Electro Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System, TOLUN ammunition, YAMGÖZ Close Range Surveillance System, military radios and PULAT Active Protection System will be exhibited at the International Aerospace Exhibition FIDAE 2024 in Santiago. The company will exhibit its advanced technology products such as the AVCI Helmet Integrated Control System, UAV payload systems, ASELFLIR-500 Electro Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System, TOLUN ammunition, YAMGÖZ Close Range Surveillance System, military radios and PULAT Active Protection System, and will host visitors until April 14.
The Santiago Office is expected to contribute to ASELSAN's long-term growth strategy and export potential in Latin America. The company's presence in Santiago will also help Latin American countries receive a larger share of defense investments.
