ArcelorMittal plans to restart production capacity by 50%, provided that the energy supply and logistics routes to Romania via Kryvyi Rih, Poland, or southern Ukraine are stabilized.
The company's CEO explained that they needed to explore new markets since they were having trouble exporting goods through the closed Black Sea ports and that there was less demand for their goods in Ukraine. The business is working to create a new system for the transportation of goods and the supply chain.
