The company announced a price increase of EUR 30 per ton for hot rolled coil (HRC) to EUR 660 with EXW delivery. This increase follows a EUR 20 per ton increase announced in the third week of December.
As the company's delivery times are reportedly extended until April due to full order capacity at its production facilities in Europe, the market's asking prices for hot rolled coils have increased to EUR 660/t and for hot dipped galvanized coils to EUR 780/t.
The company stated that it believes demand will increase in 2025. ArcelorMittal expects higher apparent demand in financial year 2025 compared to financial year 2024. With low inventory levels, especially in Europe, the company expressed optimism that restocking activity will support real demand recovery.
