On January 18, 2023, the investigation initiated by the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission was concluded. According to the information obtained, the dumping margin for the product exported from Türkiye was determined as "0%" and the investigation was closed without measures.
According to the details of the investigation, the United States of America (USA) had requested the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of flat rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel (tin mill) originating in Türkiye, as well as domestic producers, Canada, the People's Republic of China (PRC), Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, Chinese Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
However, as a result of the investigation, it was stated that the dumping margin determined for Türkiye's products was zero and therefore the investigation was closed.
The products were listed under the US Customs Statistical Positions with the following codes: 7210.11.00, 7210.12.00, 7210.50.00, 7212.10.00, 7212.50.00, 7225.99.00 and 7226.99.01.
