Hydro, a Norwegian aluminum company, has begun work on a new aluminum processing plant in Szekesfehervar, Hungary.
The plant will manufacture advanced pressing alloys for the premium automotive market. The total investment will be around 88 million euros. The facility, which has an annual capacity of 90,000 tons, is expected to begin production in the first quarter of 2024, according to the most recent reports.
