Amurstal will increase production output by 30%, to 900 thousand tons by the end of the year. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Khabarovsk Territory Evgeny Romanov.
The development of a manganese deposit near the Dzhelyumken station can additionally contribute to the development of metallurgy in the Khabarovsk Territory.
The manganese content there is estimated at 27-40%. For comparison, the deposit being developed in China contains 8-15% manganese.
But there is no buyer for these products yet. Romanov believes that the state can act as a guarantee buyer of manganese.
