Algeria is the second largest exporter of billets and blooms to Turkey in the first half of this year

Algeria is the second largest exporter of billets and blooms to Turkey after Russia in the first half of this year.

Throughout the first half of 2023, Algeria Exports billet and bloom to Turkey at 364,084 tonnes. This records increase from the previous number of 57.694 in the first half of 2022. Algeria's ascent to the second spot in Turkey's semi-finished goods imports highlights a substantial trade growth between the two nations.

This boost in exports can be attributed to a combination of factors, including enhanced trade relations, improved manufacturing capabilities, and growing demand for Algerian products in the Turkish market. The surge in semi-finished product shipments is seen as a testament to the strengthening economic ties between the two nations. This surge in exports is not only a positive sign for Algeria's economy but also indicative of Turkey's expanding demand for intermediate goods to support its manufacturing.
