The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) reported that Ak Energy Elektrik has applied for a license amendment for a maximum capacity allocation of 60 megawatts in order to export electrical energy to Syria.
According to the statement on EMRA's website, companies will be able to apply to the Authority until October 11, as required by the provisions of the relevant legislation, in order to export electrical energy to Syria by using the existing Elbeyli-Çobanbey interconnection line between Turkey and Syria.
In this context, Ak Energy Elektrik Enerjisi Tedarik Toptan Satış Limited Şirketi, holding a supply license, applied to EMRA for a license amendment for the allocation of a maximum capacity of 60 megawatts from Elbeyli Substation for 2 years in order to export electrical energy to Syria with the isolated zone supply method.
