Achv Aceros has signed an agreement with Danieli Centro Tube for the installation of two advanced ERW tube mills at its new plant in Monterrey, Mexico. These mills will produce structural tubes with diameters ranging from 19 to 193 mm and yield strengths of up to 800 MPa. The production capacity will handle wall thicknesses up to 7.3 mm and operate at speeds of up to 140 meters per minute.
The new mills will be equipped with features such as fully automatic coil loading, online metallization, eddy current testing, tube stenciling, and packaging. The automated systems will be fully operational by the end of 2025, and the tubes will be distributed across Mexico through Achv Aceros' commercial network.
This project is part of Achv Aceros' strategy to improve efficiency and production through cutting-edge technology.
