Vallourec plans to close its plant in Brazil

It has been reported that the French company Vallourec may suspend its Belo plant in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Meanwhile, the company plans to idle blast furnaces next year, which will affect the work of about 800 employees.

The company said this was due to low demand from the oil company and the car industry. Other reasons include low orders for the export market.
