Uncertainty persists in the European HRC and CRC market

On the European steel market, local hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) prices remained broadly unchanged in the week to August 5. Prices remained largely stable, especially in Germany, Spain and Italy. The ongoing uncertainty in the market and the sluggishness in the automotive sector contributed to the stable prices.
