According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's ferroalloy exports in June 2024 increased by 28.6% compared to the same month last year, rising from 6,054 tons to 7,786 tons.
This figure represents a 59.4% decrease compared to May, the previous month.
Total ferroalloy exports for the January-June period increased by 18.7% y/y, reaching 60,402 tons from 50,875 tons.
Japan led the way in terms of the countries to which Türkiye exported the most ferroalloys in this period, with 2,067 tons, followed by the Netherlands with 1,508 tons and Italy with 890 tons.
