Made in Steel, the international conference and exhibition of the steel sector, will be held on 6, 7 and 8 May 2025, with its eleventh edition organized by siderweb - La community dell'acciaio. The event will take place in halls 22 and 24 at fieramilano Rho in Milan and will cover a total exhibition space of 35,000 square meters.
Paolo Morandi, CEO of Made in Steel and siderweb, said: "2024 has started cautiously, but steel is experiencing a major shift. Strict regulations in Europe emphasize the importance of carbon reduction to stay competitive. The energy crisis is accelerating investments in energy efficiency and alternative sources. Industry 5.0 goes beyond artificial intelligence and puts people at the center of processes. Made in Steel is organized against this backdrop of rapid change and challenges and remains a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing, as well as strategic insights into the future of the national and European steel industry."
Made in Steel's 2023 event was the best in Made in Steel's almost 20-year history with 317 exhibiting companies, higher than the previous record set in 2019, including more than 25% foreign companies representing 21 countries (up from 23% in 2019). A total of 18,467 entries were recorded, a significant increase compared to 2019. There were also visitors and exhibitors from Lamiera, who were granted free entry to Made in Steel. The Made in Steel 2025 event will also take place partly in conjunction with Lamiera (6-9 May 2025), the international trade fair for the sheet metal forming machine tool industry organized by UCIMU-Sistemi per produrre.
